Jeffersonian Republican. (Stroudsburg, Pa.) 1853-1911: May 07, 1868
In Paradise Valley, on the 2nd inst., Abraham Transue, aged 70 years, 8 months and 6
days. The deceased, who was a highly respected citizen, and one of the oldest
inhabitants of Paradise, moved from Northampton county and settled in that township
over half a century ago, and was the last survivor  of the party who immigrated with
him.
