Jeffersonian Republican. (Stroudsburg, Pa.) 1840-1853: January 06, 1848
In Price township, on the 24th ult., Mr. Samuel Vanorman, in the 85th year of his
age. One more of the heroes of '76 has departed this life, and been consigned to a
peaceful and quiet grave. The subject of the above notice was one of the actors in
the great drama the American Revolution, and contributed to establish upon a
prominent basis, the civil and political rights of mankind...
