[NOTE: The founder of the Schwenkfelder Church, Caspar Schwenckfeld, was born in Ossing, Silesia, which was changed to Ossig (Osiek in Polish), and is still a small town outside of Lubin, Poland, which is outside of Legnica (Liegnitz in German), Poland. Silesia was an area of Europe which is now in southwestern Poland. Germany ceded this province to Poland after WW II. The area borders present day Germany and the Czech Republic. Oct., 1688, d. Mar. 3, 1774, m. Feb 1, 1712, MARIA BEYER or BEER, of Armenruh, b. 1694, d. Mar. 18, 1762; both are buried in Towamencin Schw. Cem. George Drescher was the son of Christopher Drescher and was a brother to Anna Drescher Kriebel, wife of Melchior Kriebel. George Drescher and Maria, three children and his sister, Anna, fled to Herrnhut, Feb. 28, 1730, and thence to America in 1734. They settled in Towamencin Twp., Pa. George Drescher was naturalized June 21, 1743. Children of GEORGE DRESCHER and MARIA BEYER: 1. Christopher DRESHER, b. Mar. 5, 1713, d. Aug. 2, 1770, June 19, 1744, m. Anna KRIEBEL, b. 1722, d. June 21, 1786, dau. Christopher Kriebel and Maria Heydrick. Christopher Dresher was naturalized June 21, 1743. He settled in Towamencin Twp. Both he and Anna are buried in Towamencin Schw. Cem. Children: i. George, b. Oct. 13, 1746, d. Oct. 17, 1822, m. Maria Yeakel. ii. Rosina, b. Nov. 8, 1748, d. Jan. 31, 1749. iii. Abraham, b. May 14, 1750, d. July 30, 1811, m. 1) Eve Schultz, 2) Susanna Seibt (Seipt). iv. Susanna, b. Aug. 7, 1753, d. Aug. 30, 1780. v. Maria, b. Oct. 9, 1757, d. Jan. 4, 1758. 2. Anna Rosina DRESHER, b. Dec. 3, 1714, d. July 3, 1794, on May 17, 1753, m. Rev. Christopher HOFFMAN, b. Dec. 3, 1727, d. Jan 29, 1804, son of Rev. Balzer Hoffman and Ursula Beier. Both are buried in Salford Schwenkfelder Cem. No issue. 3. Maria DRESHER, b. 1723, d. Dec. 30, 1772, on Aug. 10, 1748, m. Christopher KRIEBEL, Jr., b. 1724, d. Dec. 31, 1800, son of Christopher Kriebel and Maria Heydrick. Christopher Kriebel came to Pa. in 1734 with his parents and settled in Lower Salford Twp. He was naturalized Sept. 24, 1745. Christopher and Maria are buried in Salford Schw. Cem. Children: i. Abraham Kriebel, b. Mar. 30, 1750, d. Dec. 16, 1818, m. Rosina Hartranft. ii. Rosina Kriebel, b. Oct. 2, 1751, d. Sept. 19, 1823, m. Christopher Meschter. iii. Jeremiah Kriebel, b. Jan 26, 1755, d. Mar. 8, 1842, m. Anna Rosina Yeakel. iv. Anna Kriebel, b. Nov. 25, 1758, d. Dec. 4, 1831, m. David Schultz. v. Susanna Kriebel, b. May 11, 1762, d. Jan. 5, 1795, unmarried.
