[NOTE: The Silesia referenced below was an area of Europe which is now in southwestern Poland. Germany ceded this province to Poland after WW II. The area borders present day Germany and the Czech Republic. The founder of the Schwenkfelder Church, Caspar Schwenckfeld, was born in Ossing, Silesia, which was changed to Ossig (Osiek in Polish), and is still a small town outside of Lubin, Poland, which is outside of Legnica (Liegnitz in German), Poland. Their known children were: 1. Caspar HEYDRICK, b. about 1680, d. Apr. 12, 1761, on June 23, 1733, in Berthelsdorf, m. Eva BEYER, b. ?, d. Dec. 9, 1742, daughter of Melchior Beyer, gardner, of Langneundorf. Caspar and Eva came to Pa. in 1734 and probably settled in Lower Salford Twp., Montgomery Co., Pa., as he bought 106 acres of land from Caspar Wistar on Mar. 26, 1735. Place of burial of Caspar Heydrick and Eva, Salford Schw. Cem. No issue. 2. George HEYDRICK, b. ?, d. Sept. 5, 1765, m. Eve HEYDRICK, b. ?, d. Jan. 4, 1776, sister of Balthasar Heydrick and Anna Heydrick Krauss (see below). George and Eve came to Pa. in 1734, and probably settled in Lower Salford Twp., Montgomery Co., Pa., as he joined his brother, Caspar in purchasing the 106 acres of land from Caspar Wistar in 1735. He was naturalized June 21, 1743. Place of burial of George Heydrick, Salford Schw. Cem.; Eve Heydrick, Washington Schw. Cem. No issue. ************************ MELCHIOR HEIDRIG was married, but wife's name is unknown. Their known children were: 1. Anna HEYDRICK, b. about 1685, d. Jan 14, 1755, buried in Kraussdale Cem.; on Nov. 18, 1704, she m. Melchior KRAUSE (KRAUSS), farmer, of L. Harpersdorf. Anna and her husband left Silesia for Saxony, Apr. 29, 1726, with their four children, and settled in Herrnhut. On Apr. 19, 1733, they left for Pa., but Melchior died in Haarlem, May 28, 1733; the widow and children continued the journey and arrived with the second migration of Schwenkfelders, Sept. 18, 1733. Their children were: i. Baltzer (Balthasar) KRAUSS, b. 1706 in L. Harpersdorf, d. Feb. 25, 1774, m. Susanna Hoffman. ii. Maria KRAUSS, b. Sept. 29, 1707 in L. Harpersdorf, d. Apr. 5, 1790, m. Leonhard Knopf. iii. Susanna KRAUSS, b. Dec. 1, 1710, in L. Harpersdorf, d. July 24, 1794, m. Cornelius Neis (Nice). iv. Melchior KRAUSS, b. Oct., 1714, d. Sept. 16, 1779, unmarried. v. Anna KRAUSS, b. ?, d. Aug. 13, 1778, m. David Schubert. 2. Balthasar HEYDRICK, m. Rosina HEEBNER, sister of Christopher Heebner (see The HUBNER/HEEBNER Family). They came to Pa. in 1734, with their son. Rosina d. Oct. 23, 1738. Their children were: i. Christopher HEYDRICK, b. Mar. 23, 1731, at Berhelsdorf, Saxony, d. Dec. 28, 1756, of small pox. ii. George HEYDRICK, b. Sept. 22, 1737, d. Jan. 29, 1824, m.
