Ton:-- our Smiths make it their rule to double their money, according to this Information, the Calculation is made. 600 [Bluedyers] 3,000 [Printing Offices] 5,880 [Hatters] Woolhatts [sic] are calculated at 80 cents and the Furrhatts [sic] at $4 p. piece. 10,500 [Blast Furnaces] calculated at $35 p. Ton. 6,000 [Saddlers] no further particulars attainable 10,360 [Shoemakers] a majority of the families make their own Shoes: the Price of Boots averaged abt. $6 of Shoes $1.75 a pr. 1,920 [Lime Kilns] at 16 Cents p. Bushel: -- on a number of Farms there are Lime Kilns, which are not used unless the Proprietors have use for Lime themselves. $420,250
