Was buried a child of Isaac Hertzel and his good wife Margaret, in the 1 1/2 year of its age. [Rev. Dr. Lebrecht Frederick Herman, who became pastor in 1786, resigned in October, 1790. There then followed a vacancy in the pastorate until August, 1793, when Rev. Dr. Christian Ludwig Becker became the pastor. He remained in charge for eighteen months, removing from Easton to Lancaster, Pa., March, 1795. These facts will help to explain the following statement in the handwriting of Dr. Becker.] After September 25, anno 1790, this record was broken off owing to the absence, or want of a Reformed minister. After August 22, 1793, the record of the burials is resumed by Dr. Christian Ludwig Becker, sole pastor of the four united congregations, Easton, Greenwick, Trueckland (Dryland) and Plainfield.
