Date of deed: September 8, 1775 Recorded: January 23, 1776 Transcribed: Jeanette Sherbondy "John Sharbondy to John Huey. To all People to whom these pressents shall come Know Ye that I John Sharpeinter also Sharbondy of Chestnut Hill Township in Northampton County and Province of Pennsylvania Millwright for and in consideration of the Sum of Sixty Pounds lawful money of Pennsylvania to me in hand well and truly paid by John Huey of Hamilton Township in the said County Yeoman at and before the Sealing and Delivery herof the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged have granted bargained sold assigned transferred and Set over and by these presents for me and my Heirs do grant bargain sell assign transferr set over and confirm unto the said John Huey and to his Heirs and Assigns All my Right Title Interest and Estate of in and to A certain Plantation Messuage and Tract of Land situate in Hamilton Township aforesaid near or upon McMichael's Creek adjoining Thomas Aston and John Shaefer Containing One Hundred and twenty five Acres or/ thereabouts be the same more or less Together with the Appurtenances (which said Tract of Land was Surveyed to Michael Link in pursuance of an Application entered into the Land Office at Philadelphia the fifth day of November 1765 Numbered 1221And the said Michael Link by a certain Deed Poll under his Hand and Seal duly executed bearing date the Eighteenth day of May 1771 for the Consideration therein mentioned did grant bargain and sell unto the said John Sharpeinter also Sharbondy in Fee) To have and to hold the said Messuage Plantation and Tract of Land Hereditaments and Premisses hereby granted or mentioned so to be with the Appurtenances unto the said John Huey his Heirs and Assigns To the only proper Uses and Behoof of the said John Huey his Heirs and Assigns for ever Under and Subject to the payment of the Consideration Money Interest and Quitrent due and to become due to the Proprietaries for the same And I the said John Sharpeinter also Sharbondy for me my Heirs Executors and Administrators do covenent promise grant and agree to and with the said John Huey his Heirs and Assigns by these presents the said Messuage Plantation and Tract of Land and Premisses with the Appurtenances hereby granted or mentioned so to be unto the said John Huey his Heirs & Assigns against me and my Heirs and against all and every other person and persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the Premises shall and will Warrant and forever Defend by these presents (the said Proprietaries excepted) In witness thereof I the said John Sharpeinter also Sharbondy have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the Eighth day of September in the Year of our Lord One thousand sevenhundred and seventy five John (his mark) Sharpeinter (seal) Sealed and Delivered in the presence of Us Benjamin Tomkins Mary Tomkins Ackn.t --The Eighth day of September in the Year 1775 Before me Robert Levers Esq.re One of His Magesty's Justices of the Peace in and of the said County of Northampton the above named John Sharpeinter also Sharbondy and acknowledged the above written Deed Poll to be his Act and Deed and desired the same might be recorded as such witness my Hand & Seal the day & year above said Robert Levers (seal) Recorded the 23d. day of January anno 1776"
