Elizabeth; sons Philip, Nicholas, Abraham, Jacob, John, William (dec'd), daughters Anna Margaret wife of Geo. Drum and Elizabeth wife of Jacob Stonebach. sons Nicholas and Abraham are executors witnesses: George Wolf and Geo Shrie (Jhrie or Ihrie?) In the Name of God Amen! I Philip Woodring of Williams township in the County of Northampton and State of Pennsylvania Black Smith, being old but of sound mind memory and understanding and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make this my last will and testament to wit: - First that all my just debts if any shall be paid after my Decease I do order and direct that all my household furniture shall be in the full Enjoyment of my Dear Wife Maria (?? Marda) Elizabeth, and after her decease the same shall be sold by my Executors except her clothing which shall be divided to my daughters Ann Margaret and Elizabeth and by them divided in Equal shares - and Whereas - I have by Deeds Conveyd unto my two sons Philip and Nicholas a Certain Tract of Land situate in Luzerne County Each on Eaqul undivided half part therefore the said piece so conveyd to my son Philip He is to consider as his full share and dividend out of my estate - and further to my said wife I give and bequeath one hundred Dollars to be paid to her out of the first money that my said Executors shall receive - and all the rest and Ressidue of my Estate I do order and direct shall be Divided in seven Equal shares among Abraham Woodring, Nicholas Woodring, Jacob Woodring, John Woodring the heirs of my son William Deceased and my two Daughters Ann Margaret the Wife of Geo: Drum and Elizabeth the Wife of Jacob Stonebach. Each of said Heirs shall be charged with such Bonds notes and Bank Debts as I have against them charged and be deducted out of their respective shares - and lastly I do hereby nominate Constitute and appoint my two sons Nicholas and Abraham Executors of this my last Will and Testament here by Revoking all other Wills by heretofore made and Declare this as my Last Will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand seal the 26th Day of Feb. A.D. 1816 Signed Sealed Published and Declared by the said Testator as his Last Will and Testament in presence of us George Wolf Geo Shrie (Jhrie or Ihrie?) Northampton County SS This 8th day of May Anno Domini 1819, before me Nathaniel Michler, Register for the probate of wills and granting Letters of Administration in and for the County of Northampton, personally came George Wolf and George Shrie?, the subscribing witness to the preceeding will, and being duly sworn according to law, did respectively depose and say that they were present and saw and heard Philip the testator sign, seal publish pronounce and declare the aforegoing instrument of writing as and for his testatment and last will - that at the time of so doing, he was of perfect sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge, observation and belief: And that they at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other, signed the same as witnesses: Nath'l Michler, Register.
