My mother was the mother of thirteen children, and the youngest is upwards of 50 years of age. She died seven or eight years after my father died and I am told that these circumstances seem to entitle her to a pension. I am in need of what ever may be ours & will be very much obliged & thankful to you if you will give me this information and moreover tell me how much appears due my father Wm Dougherty and the date to which he had credit for pension to make this amount. Very respectfully your humble servant Please address to care of Mr. W. S. Rosecrans.
