Sunbury Gazette, October 22, 1853 Died In Danville on the 3rd inst., Daniel CRESSMAN, a soldier of the War of 1812, aged about 65 years. At Ransomville N.Y., 7th ult., Conrad DIEFENBACHER, formerly of Northumberland county, in his 40th year. At Pottsville, at the residence of her brother, Wm. L. GRAY, Jane M. GRAY, formerly of Northumberland, aged 24 years. Married In the borough of Danville on the 13th instant, by the Rev. A. BARR, Mr. Wm. McWILLIAMS to Miss Catherine CALDWELL of Shamokin, Northumberland county. The Tavern Stand is favorable situate is Elysburg, Shamokin township, North’d co. on the Danville turnpike, leading from Danville to the Bear Gap, about 8 miles from the former and four miles from the latter place, and known as the Elysburg Tavern.
