Sunbury American
At the residence of Mrs R R Packer of this place on Sunday morning last Miss 
Jane Black aged about 62 years. The deceased was a native of this place in 
which she has always resided. She had long been a member of the Presbyterian 
Church and always esteemed for her exceptional conduct, high tone of moral 
character and her intellegent attainments. Her disease (consumption) gave her 
warning for more than 20 years by slow but certain steps that her earthly 
career was drawing to a close. She lived to see numerous family (the children 
of a beloved sister) to whom she was devotedly attached, grow up around her, 
who may now sincerely mourn her loss.
