Fred Schucker Died At Hospital May 12, 1902 Fred Schucker, of 20 South Hickory Street who was removed to the hospital last Wednesday a week died at that place at two this morning. Mr. Schucker's case is a peculiarly sad one for he seemed to be rapidly recovering his health. At eight last evening he was sitting up and smoked a cigar. He was a victim of miner's asthma and about nine o'clock was seized with a fit of coughing. Everything possible was done to relieve him but the coughing could not be stopped and at two he died. His end seemed to be very peaceful, he having become too weak to cough or to feel his suffering. The dead man was 38 years of age is survived by a wife and eight children, the eldest of whom is a girl about 17 years of age, and the sympathy of the entire community goes out to the stricken family. Interment will be made tonight in Oak Hill Cemetery by the authorities of the hospital.
