Haas, widow of John Packer Haas, one of Sunbury's oldest, best known and most beloved residents, died very suddenly at her home, the victim of acute heart failure. Mrs. Haas, who was 81 years of age, had been in excellent health and enjoyed the New Year welcome period with relatives and friends gathered about her. A daughter, two grandchildren and one great grandchildren, John H. Carter, Jr., son of Prof. Carter of the Trevorton high school, survive. The funeral is to be held from the home at 245 Chestnut street, Sunbury, at 2 o' clock tomorrow afternoon. Additional Comments: The date of publication is believed to be January 4, 1933, but as the article does not explain when exactly Mrs. Haas died, I have no idea as to that date. I am not related, and have no further information on this person or family. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/pafiles/ File size: 1.4 Kb
