James Schucker Dies of Heart Attack at 52James A. Schucker, 52, of 125 north Chestnut street, died suddenly of a heart attack as he was about to retire, at ten minutes after twelve this morning. -He had been suffering with a heart condition for a number of years recovering from several severe attacks and also from a stroke with which he had been stricken two years ago. He had been able to putter around his home and his death was unexpected. Mr. Schucker was well known In the community being engaged in the general hauling business, and >• retired six years ago because of his health. At one time he had been employed as a storekeeper by the Pennsylvania Power & Light Company at its Seventh ' and Oak street substation in this city. A son of the late Fred and Jennie (Diehl) Schucker, he was born in Mount Carmel on February 11, 1899, and was educated in the public schools of this city. He was married to the former Emma Buehler on August 22, 1922 in St. Paul Evangelical Church by the Rev. James D. Kistler. He was a member of St. Paul Evangelical United Brethren Church. Survivors are his wife, two daughters, Doris, at home; Emma, a student nurse at the Ashland Hospital School of Nursing; two sisters and four brothers: Mrs. George Pelstring, Mrs. Fred. Dillman, Philadelphia; Arthur and Jesse Schucker, Mount Carmel; Fred Schucker, Frackville;; and Leroy Kramer of Philadelphia. Funeral services will be held in the Rothermel Funeral Home, south Market street, Saturday afternoon | at two o'clock. The Rev. E. B. Harris, I pastor of St. Paul Evangelical Church, will officiate, and interment will be made-in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Rothermel Home Friday evening seven to nine o'clock.
