Aged Resident Claims Reward The grim reaper, death, this morning at 3 o'clock called home a long and patient sufferer in the person of Sarah, the beloved wife of Jesse Diehl, of 18 South Hickory Street. The deceased was attacked with a paralytic stroke about a year ago and has been sick since. She was born in Schuylkill County, was 75 years old and has been a resident of this city for 36 years. Her advanced age combined with the paralytic stroke was the cause of her death. A husband and three children, William, Abraham and Mrs. Jane Schucker, all of town, survive to mourn her loss. Deceased was a good woman, a faithful and loving wife and mother and up until the time of her sickness was an ardent worker in the Reformed Church. The funeral services will be held tomorrow evening at the late home at 7 o'clock and will be officiated at by Rev. A. Gonser, pastor of the Reformed Church. On Sunday morning at 7 o'clock the cortege will go in carriages to Deep Creek, Schuylkill County, where interment will be made.
