MRS. MARY T. SIMMONDS



  Mrs. Mary Tietsworth Simmonds, wife of Dr. Harry T. Simmonds, formerly an 

interne at the Altoona hospital and sister of Mrs. Fred G. Pearce of 219 

Second avenue, died at the home of her parents at Shamokin at 12:45 o'clock 

Thursday of last week of a complication of diseases.  She had been in poor 

health for two years and only recently had been removed from a Philadelphia 

hospital to the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd B. Tietsworth.  She 

was born October 21, 1892, was a graduate of the Shamokin High school and was 

married in September 1911.  She is survived by her husband and two children, 

by her parents and her sister, Mrs. Pearce in this city.
