Daniel H. Reed, a minor.  And now to wit, Sept. 30, 1891.  Petition read in 
open court and Aaron Raker appointed guardian.  Bail in the sum of one 
thousand dollars for Daniel H. Reed.  Bail in the sum of four hundred dollars 
for Martha Matilda Schlegel and Bail in the sum of two hundred dollars for 
Charles Benjamin Martz.

The Petition of Daniel H. Reed a minor child (over the age of fourteen years) 
of Martha Reed late of the Borough of Shamokin in said county and Martha 
Matilda Schlegel and Charles Benjamin Martz Grandchildren of said decedent 
both of whom are under the age of fourteen years by J. R. Conrad Executor of 
Estate of decedent.  Respectively represents that the petitioners have no 
person authorized to take care of or charge of their person and estates.  
They therefore pray the Court to appoint some suitable person their guardian 
for that purpose and they will ever pray to.
