Northumberland Co. [written near left hand top corner and bottom 
left hand corner "Do not publish"]
Personally appreared before me, the Clerk of the Orphan's Court of said County, Joseph 
W. Schoffstall who, being duly qualified according to law, did dispose and say that a 
marriage is contemplated by and between the man and woman first hereafter named, and 
that the answers to the following interrogatories are correct and true:
Name of man, Joseph W. Schoffstall
Name of woman, Rosa A. Melick
Relationships of the parties, either by blood or by marriage, none
Age of man, and where born, 24 years, Gratz, Dauphin Co., PA
Age of woman, and where born, 24 years, Manhattan, Neb.
Residence of the man, Sunbury, PA
Residence of the woman, Sunbury, PA
Parent's names - man, Henry W. & Caroline Schoffstall
Parents' names - woman, Luther & Mary Malick
Color of parties, white, occupation of man, Physician, occupation of woman, none  
and that he knows of no reseaon why said marriage may not be lawfully made, and 
thereupon requests that a license be issued therefor.  
Sworn and subscribed before me, this 16 day of March, 1904, F. M. Van Devender, Clerk 
of the Orphans'Court                     Joseph W. Schoffstall
Whereuponh a Marriage License was issued in due form of law, this 16 day March 1904.
March 23, 1904.  Duplicate certificate signed by Rev. G. Wis Marquardt certifying to the 
solemnizatiion of said marriage at Sunbury on March 22, 1904, recieved and filed
