I, Joseph Buddinger, of the Borough of Mount Carmel, County of Northumberland and State of Pennsylvania, do hereby make, publish and declare this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. As to such estate as I shall possess at the time of my decease, I dispose of the same as follows, to wit: ITEM I. I hereby order and direct that my body be buried in the burial lot oft he Cemetery at Bear Gap, Penna., and besides that of my late wife - Josesphine. ITEM II. I hereby give and bequeath unto my daughter Sara E. Buddinger all my right, title and interest of, in and to my share of stock or investment in The Harrisburg State Capital Building and Loan Association of Harrisburg, Penna., to which I am entitled to have under and by virtue of the last will and testament of my late wife Josephine; my said daughter to have and to hold the same unto herself absolutely. ITEM III. I hereby give and bequeath unto my son Dr. A.L. Buddinger my gold headed ebony walking cane; to have and to hold the same unto himself absolutely. ITEM IV. I hereby give and bequeath unto my son-in-law Robert Mershon my curved handle hickory walking cane; to have and to hold the same unto himself absolutely. ITEM V. I hereby give and bequeath unto my daughter Sara E. Buddinger my "Schubert Piano"; to have and to hold the same unto herself absolutely. And further, I do hereby expressly confirm my former gift of a Plymouth Coupe Automobile unto my said daughter Sara E. Buddinger and which I gave to her at the time of its purchase. ITEM VI. I do hereby give and bequeath all my work and mechanical tools to my son Dr. A.L. Buddinger, my son-in-law Robert Mershon and my grandson Joseph Clark and to share the same amongst themselves as they shall see fit and proper; to have and to hold the same unto themselves absolutely. ITEM VII. I do hereby give and bequeath unto my sister Theresa Reimensnyder, of Elmira, New York State, the sum of Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars (without any deduction whatsoever on account of or by reason of any State Inheritance Tax which might become due thereon to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania) should she be living at the time of my decease; to have and to hold the same unto herself absolutely. HOWEVER, should my said sister Theresa Reimensnyder be deceased at the time of my decease, then and in such case said bequest of Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars herein given unto her shall revert to my estate and become part of the residuary clause of this my last will and testament and be divided and distributed accordingly. ITEM VIII. I do hereby give, devise and bequeath all the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, real, personal and mixed, of whatsoever kind and nature and wheresoever the same shall be found or situate at the time of my decease unto my children and grandchildren in the manner following and proportion, to wit: Unto my daughter Carrie Walton, the one-fifth (1/5) part thereof; unto my daughter Sara E. Buddinger, the one-fifth (1/5) part thereof; unto my duaughter Julia Pauline Mershon, the one-fifth (1/5) part thereof; unto my son Dr. A.L. Buddinger, the one-fifth (1/5) part thereof; unto the children of my deceased daughter Kate Clark the one-fifth (1/5) part thereof, share and share alike: to have and to hold the same unto themselves in fee and absolutely. ITEM IX. I do hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my son Dr. A.L. Buddinger and my daughter Sara E. Buddinger and my grandson Joseph Clark to be the Executors of this my last will and testament, hereby authorizing and empowering them, or the survivor or survivors of them, to make sale or sales of any or all of my real estate, either at public or private sale (if in their judgment sale or sales shall be necessary or advisable) and to make, execute and deliver proper deeds of conveyance for the same without any liability upon the part of the purchaser or purchasers thereof for the non-application, misapplication or application of the purchase money. In the matter of the Probate of the } Last Will and Testament of } PETITION } JOSEPH BUDDINGER, deceased } The petition of Dr. A.L. Buddinger, Sara E. Buddinger and Joseph Clark, respectfully showeth that they are the Executors named in the Last Will and Testament of JOSEPH BUDDINGER, Citizen of the United States dated the 29th day of NOV. A.D. 1930. That said JOSEPH BUDDINGER, the testator was a resident of the County of Northumberland and State of Pennsylvania, and departed this life at number 17, N. Oak St., Mt. Carmel, in the County of North'd. and State of Penna., on Tuesday the 2nd day of June A.D. 1931 at 4:45 o'clock p.m. The said testator was possessed of personal property to the value of $2500 and of real estate (less incumerance) to the value of $5000 as near as can be ascertained, situated as follows: an undivided one-third (1/3) interst of, in to to all that certain Lot or piece of ground situate in the Borough of Mount Carmel, County of Northumberland and State of Pennsylvania, known as Lot No. 9, Blk. #31; Therefore the said Dr. A.L.
