Henry Daniel's Will Northumberland County Court House, Sunbury, Pa. D125 3 390 1841 November 30, 1841 In the name of God Amen. I, Henry Daniel of the Township of Jackson in the county of Northumberland and state of Permsylvania, yeoman, being weak in body and of sound mind, memory and understanding but considering the uncertainty of this transitory life do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following, to wit: First, it is my will, and I order that all my just debts and funeral expenses be duly paid and satisfied as soon as can conveniently be after my decease.-Item 1, it is my will that after my decease I order my Executors to make vandue of my moveable property and sell the swne as quick as convenient after my decease, and coffect all my outstanding bonds and notes and the money arising therefrom shall be divided among my eight heirs share and share alike, that is to say to my daughter, Christina, the wife of Adam LEFLER her share to her heirs, my son John DANIEL, my daughter, Margaret, the wife of John BOWMAN , to my son John George DANIEL, to my sons John Henry DANIEL, to his heirs, Magdalana, the wife of Isaac STEWART, to my son John Adam DANIIEL and to my son Andrew DANEEL. Further I have sold my plantation which I live on to my son John Adan DANIEL for the sum of eight hundred dollars and made him a deed for the swne which I have enclosed in my chest and is to have immediately after my decease. It is my wish that my son John Adam DANIEL shall have one hundred dollars in advance out of my plantation. Further it is my will that my son John Adam DANIEL shall pay the fulll payment one year after my decease. That is to say to the heirs of my daughter Christina the sum of one hundred dollars two years after-my decease; one hundred dollars to my son John DANIEL three years after my decease; one hundred dollars to my daughter Margaret, the wife of John BOWMAN four years after my decease; one hundred dollars to my son John George DANIEL five years after my decease, one hundred dollars to the heirs of my son John Henry Daniel six years after my decease; one hundred dollars to my daughter, Magdalana, wife of Isaac STEWART, seven years after my decease; and one hundred dollars to my son Andrew DANIEL. Lastly I nominate, constitute and appoint my said son, John Adam DANIEL and John BOWMAN to be the executors of this my will hereby revoking all other wiffs, legacies and bequests by me heretofore made and declaring this and no other, to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand the twenty-first day of June one thousand, eight hundred and thirty eight. (of which the foregoing is a true copy) and that letters testamentary with the will armexed were granted to John Adam DANEEL and John BOWMAN, Executors in the said will named. Henry Daniel was the son of Adam Daniel and Barbara Kleist of Bethel Twp. Berks Co. Pa. He was married to Maria Magdalena Miller, daughter of John Miller and Justina Brossman of Tulpehochen Twp. Berks Co. Pa.
