Will for Michael Derck, Sr. Vol 92 / Bk 3 p.20 Will probated the 4th day of April 1828 In the name of God, Amen, I, Michael Derck, Senior, of Little Mahanoy Township, Northumberland County and state of Pennsylvania Being in Perfect Health of body and of Sound Mind and understanding (Blessed be God for the same) but considering the uncertainty of this Life do make and Publish this my last Will and testament in manner and form following to wit: Principally and first of all I command my Immortal Soul into the hands of God who gave it and my body to the Earth to be buried in a decent and Christian like manner at the Discretion of my Executors herein after named and as to such Worldly Estate Wherewith it has pleased God to bless me in this Life I give and dispatch the same in the following manner to wit: First it is my will that my Just Debts shall be paid out of my Estate. I give and devise unto my wife during her lifetime all my personal property and thirty pounds for her own yous. I give and devise to every of my legal heirs the sum of thirty pounds out of my Estate to be paid in Rotation, beginning at the oldest of my children one year after my Deth Which have not already received there Thirty pounds and antell Every heir has thirty pounds and the Remainder of My Estate Shall remain in the hands of my wife during her lifetime and after her Death Shall be divided unto my legal heirs in Equal Shares and all my personal property shall be sold by Public Sale and I nominate and apoint my son George Derk to be my Executor.
