I John Dunkelberger of Little Mahanoy Township Northumberland County and State of Pennsylvania, Tanner, Being very sick and weak in Body But of Sound mind Memory and understanding, Blessed Be God for the Same, Do Make and publish this my Last Will and Testament in Manner and form following to wit: Principally and first of all I Command My Infinite soul into the hands of God who gave it and My body to the Earth to be Buried in a Decent and Christian Like Manner at the Discretion of My Executors herein after Named and as to such worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to Bless me in this life I give and dispose of the Same in the following manner to wit, First I give and devise unto My Son John the place whereon he now lives which shall be his share out of my estate; second I give and devise unto My son George the place whereon he now lives which shall be his share out of my Estate; thirdly I give and devise unto my Son in Law Samuel Bloom a tract of Land Lying [along] Mahanoy Creek commonly called the Grass [illegible word] and if My said son Law Samuel Bloom don't like to take Said tract of land for his share then it is my will that he shall have two hundred and fifty pounds out of my estate for his share and My Executors shall sell the Said tract of Land; fourthly I give and devise unto My Daughter Mary Elizabeth two tracts of land joining together and lying on Little Mahanoy Creek and two Cows and one heffer, two brass bedsteads and bedding; fifly I give and devise unto My Two sons Solomon and Jonathan My place whereon I Now live and Saw Mill and Grist Mill with the grain in the ground; further I give unto my two sons Solomon and Jonathan two harness and wagon, one plough, one harrow, each of them shall have one Bed Bedstead and the necessary bedding; the stove in the mill shall remain in the mill which shall be their share out of my estate; sixthly I give and devise unto my Step Son Daniel Dornsife the Sum of fifty pounds for his share. I give and Devise unto My Dear wife during her Natural Life two cows, two Bed Bedsteads and the necessary bedding one large kettle, one Large Copper kettle and Small brass kettle, one gram pot, one butter dish, Six butter plates, six table spoons, the New stove and the sum of one hundred pounds. My wife shall remain on the place as long as she lives and my two sons Solomon and Jonathan shall give to My said wife yearly and every year five bushels of wheat, ten bushels of Rye, one hundred weight of fattened hogs meat, two bushels of Salt, ten pound flax cleaned and ten pounds of tar, eight pound of wool, six pound of [illegible word], ten pound of Sugar, half pound of pepper, half pound of alspice and shall have the privilege in the kitchen and one room in the new house, the wood cut and carried to her room. Further, it is my will that My just Debt shall be paid. I do empower my said Executors to give deeds for the said tracts of land by me so divided. After my whole estate is settled and a balance should remain then it is my will that it should be divided between my lawful heirs in equal shares. Lastly, I nominate, constitute and appoint my Said wife and my friend Conrad Raker to be the Executors of this My last will and testament hereby revoking all other wills, legacies and bequests by my heretofore made, declaring this and no others to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof I the Said John Dunkelberger have signed, sealed published pronounced and declared by the said testator as his last will and testament in the presence of us who in his presence and at his request have subscribed as witnesses. Finney, Register for said County personally appeared Jacob Shaffer and George Wagner the two subscribed witnesses to the within will and being duly sworn according to law did depose and say that they were personally present and did see John Dunkelberger the testator sign seal publish and declare the withinas and for his last will & testament that at the time of so doing the testator was of sound mind and disposing memory as deponents believe that they witnessed the same in the presence and at the request of Testator and in presence of each other and that the names jacob Shaffer and George Wagner, subscribed therto are of deponents hand writing, Sworn & subscribed Jacob Shaffer before, George Wagner John L.
