In the name of God Amen. I Catherine Fausold of Rockefeller Township, County of Northumberland and State of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind and memory and understanding do make my last will and testament in manner and form following: First, I direct, that the farm on which we now live, situate in Rockefeller Township, County of Northumberland and State of Pennsylvania adjoining lnads of Samuel Fausold, Benjamin Kriegbaum and George Fausold on the North; lands of Frank Kelly on the East, lands of Samuel Gass on the West and lands of Samuel Klinger on the South and containing one hundred and twenty acres, be the same more or less, be sold by my executor hereinafter to be named after my death and the proceeds be divided into seven equal shares; the money due me and belonging to me and other goods belonging to me shall also be divided after my death into seven equal shares; I give and devise and bequeath to George Kuebler or his [illegible word] legally appointed one seventh part of the proceeds of the sale of the farm above mentioned to be sold after my death and of money due me or belonging to me at my death to hold the same in trust and place it out on interest on good real security and pay over the interest thereof to my son Solomon Fausold, for and duringt all the term of his natural life without being subject to his debts or liabilities, and at his decease then I do give, devise and bequeath the same, share and share alike, to the children of my said son Solomon Fausold their heirs and assigns. The remaining six shares I give devise and bequeath as followes to wit: one sixth share to my daughter Sallie Ann; one sixth share to my daughter Catharine Louisa; one sixth share to my son Philip Fausold; one sixth share to my daughter Emma Jane; one sixth share to my daughter Elizabeth and one sixth share to my son Peter Fausold, to them and their heirs and assigns. I moreover direct, that if at any time, the family of my son, should stand in need thereof, that the said George Kuebler may pay over to the family of my said son Solomon Fausold, a portion of the principal now held by him, in trust for my son Solomon Fausold but in no case shall any part of the principal or interest be subject or applied to the payment of the debts or liabilities of my son Solomon Fausold. My Trustee George Kuebler to be allowed ordinary compensation for his services as Trustee. The said George Kuebler my trustee above appointed to give [illegible word] in the sum of fifteen hundred ($1500.00) dollars for the faithful performance of his task as trustee and paying over the interest to my son Solomon Fausold during his life time and the principal interest to the heirs of Solomon Fausold after his death. And lastly I hereby constitute and appoint my son Peter B. Fausold and my son in law Charles Zerfing to be the executors of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I Catharine Fausold to testator have to this my written will set my hand and seal this 24th day of October A.D. one thousand eight hundred and eighty two. Reimensnyder I Catharine Fausold, the above named testator do hereby make and publish this codicil to my last will and testament bearing date the 24th day of October, A.D. one thousand eight hundred and eighty two. First [beginning of passage is omitted or obscured] security in the sum of fifteen hundred dollars for the faithful performance of his trust as trustee and now hereby and herewith direct that he shall give security for the faithful performance of his trust only in the sum of five hundred dollars $500.00. Second, I do revoke the devise and bequest in my said will contained to my son Philip Fausold viz one sixth share (he having died) and I now direct that the one sixth share bequeathed to him in my said will contained, shall be divided share and share alike among the other legatees as mentioned in my said will. And do hereby ratify and confirm my said will in all others respects.
