Written: September 9, 1797

Samuel Findlay's estate (indexed Finley) will book B p 231 states he is of 
Peters Tp.  Directs Exrs to sell al his property except 2 tracts viz:
one at mouth of Loyalhanna in Westnd Co
the other in Northumberland Co on Stump Creek
to son Nathan when he comes 21 yrs (uncertain)
to my niece Elizabeth Findlay £25
to my six sons equally viz: John, William, James, Jonathan, Thomas & Nathan 
all bals of my estate.  My younger sons not to receive their shares until they 
are 21, the exr to pay their shares to such gdns as they shall choose.
Appoints sons John & Wm Findlay Exrs Dated Oct 18, 1796 Samuel Findlay (seal) 
Witnesses: James Johnston, Thos Johnston, James Bailey
Codicil says he made son James equal & have since given him land to amt of 
$2000 which is to be accounted for.  Dated Sept 9, 1797   Saml Findlay (seal)
Pro Dec 1, 1804 letters to William & on Jany 8, 1805 John appears & is sworn
