IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN. I Philip Frick, of the town and county of Northumberland, in the State of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory, and understanding the uncertainty of this transitory life, do make and publish this my last WILL and TESTAMENT, in manner and form following to wit: Principally, and first of all, I commend my immortal soul into the hands of God who gave it, and my body to the earth, to be buried in a decent and christian-like manner, at the discretion of my Executors herein after named; and as to such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life, I give an dispose of the same in the following manner to wit: First, it is my will, and I do order, that all my just debts and funeral expenses, as soon as conveniently can be after my decease, be duly paid and satisfied. Item, I give and devise unto my dear wife Margaret, all my estate real and personal, of what kind or nature soever the same may be, in the county of Northumberland aforesaid, or elsewhere, the personal estate absolutely, and the real estate during her natural life; and from and immediately after her decease, I give and devise my tract of land called "Philipsburg," situate in Point Township, in the county aforesaid, unto John Montgomery and David Montgomery, sons of Robert Montgomery of Paradise in the said county, and his wife Catharine, my daughter, lately deceased, to them the said John and David and their heirs forever, as tenants in common, and not as joint tenants, if they shall have attained the age of twenty one years at that time; but if only one has attained that age, he shall have his equal half share, and the other brother shall have his share at his age of twenty one, and if neither is of full age, each shall have his share as he becomes of full age. If either the said John or David die under age, his surviving brother shall have the whole tract. I give and devise unto Margaret Montgomery, daughter of the said Robert and Catharine, my Lot number 38 in the said town of Northumberland in King Street, on which is situate the house on which I at present reside, with the appurtenances, to her and her heirs forever. I give and devise my Lot number 25 in the same said town and street, on which is situate the house in which John King in now lives, with the appurtenances, unto Catharine Montgomery, daughter of the said Robert and Catharine, and her heirs forever. I give and devise my Lot number 221 situate in the same said town on Front street, now in the tenure of Jason Chapel, with the appurtenances, unto Christiana Montgomery, daughter of the said Robert and Catharine Montgomery, and her heirs forever. I give and devise my Lot number 189 in the said town, on Orange Street, which I purchased of John Caruthers, with the appurtenances, unto Sarah Montgomery, daughter of the said Robert and Catharine, and her heirs forever. The aforesaid several devises to Margaret, Catharine, Christiana, and Sarah Montgomery, they are to recieve severally, and respectively, when they each respectively attain the age of eighteen years, my dear wife Margaret being deceased; and if either of them die without children before the age of eighteen years, her share shall be sold by my Executor, and be equally divided among her surviving sisters herein before named, as they each of them, severally attain the said age of eighteen. And since the shares of Christiana and Sarah are the least valuable, it is my desire, and I order, that, at the time when they are entitled to their several and respective devices, my Executor shall pay them severally and equally, the amount and produce of the rents, issues and profits which have then arisen from all my real estate, from the death of my said wife, or from the time of my own decease, if I survive her, until the time that the devices were delivered over to or received by, the said Devices, John, David, Margaret, Catharine, Christiana and Sarah Montgomery respectively; and, if either the said Christiana or Sarah before she is entitled to her devise, die, her share of such profits shall go to her sister receiving the othe share. I except out of the devise to my wife, my large old German Bible, and bequeath it to the youngest son of my brother Frederick Frick. If I survive my said wife, I direct my Executor to sell my personal property, and after payment of my funeral expenses, and just debts, distribute the remainder equally among the aforesaid children of Robert and Catharine Montgomery, as they respectively become entitled to their aboved devised property, to wit, the sons at the age of twenty one years, and the daughters at the age of eighteen years. I also, in that event, bequeath and give to the said Margaret Montgomery, my silver Sugar Tongs marked P.F. and my half dozen silver Tea spoons and my silver cream jug, marked M.F. And I give and bequeath to the said Catharine Montgomery, daughter of the said Robert & Catharine, my three silver Table spoons and silver Cream Jug marked C.F. And lastly, I nominate, constitute and appoint my friend Jacob Dendler, and my dear wife Margaret, aforesaid, to be the Executors of this my WILL, hereby revoking all other wills and legacies, by me heretofore made and declaring this and no other to be my last WILL and TESTAMENT. In witness whereof,I, the said Philip Frick, have hereunto set my hand and seal the eigteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and six. Signed, sealed, published, pronounced } and declared, by the said testator, } as his last will and testament, (after } Philip Frick (seal) interlining the words "with the } appurtenances" between the seventeenth } and eighteenth lines from the top), in } the presense of us, who in his } presense, and at his request, have } subscribed as witnesses. } Witnesses, Hugh Bellas John Hannah
