I John Frick of the Borough of Northumberland, County of Northumberland and State of Pennsylvania, Being somewhat indisposed in Body--but of sound and disposing Mind and Memory do make and Publish this my last will and testament--In manner and form as follows-- It is my will and I hereby direct that all my just debts and Funeral Expenses and all the charges touching the provening of this my will shall in the first place be fully paid and discharged by my Executors hereinafter named as soon as thay conveniently can be after my decease-- Item 1st. It is my will and I do hereby order and direct that the whole of my Personal Property and Household furniture shall be and remain the absolute Property of my beloved wife Ann Elizabeth. Item 2nd. It is my will and I hereby order and direct that the House in which I now reside with all the appurtenances then unto belonging shall be and remain int eh possession of my beloved wife during the term of her natural live. I also order and direct that the proceeds arising from all my Real Estate with the appurtenances thereunto annexed shall be received and belong to my beloved wife during the term of her natural life except my House and lot in which Abraham Diffenbacher now resides--which property I order and direct my Executors herein after named to sell either at private or public sale at any time after my decease to the best interest of my heirs--the proceeds of which shall be applied by my executors to the payments of my just debts and for the boarding, clothing and schooling of my minor children until they arrive at the age of sixteen years--I also order and direct that if any balance remain in the hands of my executors from the sale of said House and lot, after paying my just debts for the boarding, schooling and clothing of my minor children as before directed, that the interest of said balance be paid to my beloved wife, during her natural life. Item 3rd. It is my will and I hereby devise and bequeath all my right, title, interest, property and claim to the House and Lot in which I now reside with the appurtenances annexed to my son George A. Frick in for to take effect after the death of my beloved wife--he paying to me Executors the ful sum of Seven Hundred dollars therefore to be paid in six equal annual installments. If my son George A. refuses to take said House and Lot at the sum fixed as above, then I order and direct my Executors hereinafter named to sell the same either at Public or Private sale as they may deem best for the interest of the Heirs. Item 4th. I further empower, order and direct my executors hereinafter named after the death of my beloved wife to sell and dispose of all my Real estate wheresoever the same may be, not already disposed of or provided for as above directed either at Public or Private sale as thay may deem best for the interest of the Heirs. And to give as good and sufficient deed or deeds for the same and also for the House and Lot devised to my son George A. if he refuses to take the same at the price fixed--and the House and Lot mentioned and ordered to be sold in Item Second as I myself might or could give in my life time. Item 5th. It is my will and I hereby devise and bequeath all the moneys arising from the sale of my Real Estate not otherwise disposed of to be divided among my twelve children, to wit, Charles, William, George A., Jacob, Henry, Edwin, Clarence, Catharine, Rebecca, Anna Elizabeth, Marion, and Susan, Equally share and Share alike. Item 6th. I nominate, consititue, and appoint Eli Slifer of the Borough of Lewisburg, Union County and George A. Frick of the Borough of Northumberland and County of Northumberland Executors of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all other wils and testaments by me heretofore made and declaring this and no other to be my last will and testament. Lastly, It is my will and I do hereby nominate and appoint Eli Slifer and George A. Frick Guardians of my Minor Children, who shall have the Guardianship and tuitions of them during their minority.
