Rob't Gray, Dep'y Reg't ------------ Notes About this Will: 1. Will written May 3, 1806 and proven May 27th 1806 establishes Nicholas Hetterich's death date as between May 3, and May 27, 1806. 2. Very important to genealogists...particularly those wanting to displace Nicolas son Michael and put Michaels of earlier and later birth dates as the son of this Nicholas. One cannot legitimately ignore that All children were listed in birth order. Illogical to assume just one child would have been displaced from that birth order when the known births and ages fit the order given in this will. Nicolas further supports the fact he listed his children in birth order by stating they are to receive their inheritance from oldest to youngest...ie he was verifying the order inwhich they were to receive this inheritance by listing them accordingly. The Will proves not only birth order but also that these children, within this order, were all alive as of May 3, 1806. Children birth order as shown in Will with their ages at the time this will was written according to known birth dates: Juliana age 33 1773 proven in Will as eldest child Johan Peter age 32 June 9, 1774 date Himmel Ch.
