In the name of God Amen. I Jacob Raker of Lower Augusta Township in the County of Northumberland Being admonished by old age and infirmity that the Days of my Earthly pilgrimage are Rapidly drawing to a close But being of Sound mind and memory and understanding Do make and Publish this my last will and testament and declaring this and no other to be my last will and Testament. First and principally I commend my Spirit into the hands of God who gave it and my Body to the Earth to be buried ina decent and Christian like manner at the discretion of my Executors. As to such worldly Estate as God hath been pleased to bless me with I dispose of the Same in the following manner, I direct all my just debts and funeral expense to be paid by my Executors as soon after my decease as the same can conveniently be done. I empower my Executors as soon after my death as convenient to sell and dispose of my plantations and tracts of land in Lower Augusta Township Northumberland County on which I at Present live and where my Son Jacob Raker lives and whereon my Son George Raker lives at public or private sale and for the best price that can be obtained fro the same Either fort he whole tracts or in part as my Executors may Judge most advantageous and to make and Execute deed to the purchaser for the same, Should my Executors be unable to procure for my said plantations what in their judgment is sufficient price for the said Plantations I order and direct them to rent my said plantations on the best terms they can until the same is sold by them. I give and bequeath to my Son George Raker the Sum of Two Hundred Dollars and to my Son Solomon Raker the Sum of Two Hundred Dollars, to be paid them out of the proceeds of the Sale of my Plantation. After Payment of my just debts, funeral expense, the expense of settling my estate and the above mentioned Legacies are paid, I order and direct the balance of my estate including the proceeds of the sale of my Plantations to be divided among my children herein after mentioned share and share alike, to my son George Raker[,] to my son Jacob Raker[,] to my son Solomon Raker[,] to my daughter Maria married to George Long[,] my daughter Elizabeth married to James Wallis[,] my daughter Catherine married to Henry Heiser, my daughter Lovina married to Daniel Malick. I nominate constitute and appoint my two sons George Raker and Jacob Raker to be the Executors of this my Last will and Testament hereby declaring this and no other my will.
