The Last Will and Testament of Conrad Raker of Little Mahanoy Township, Northumberland County and State of Pennsylvania-- In the name of God, Amen. I Conrad Raker, considering the uncertainty of this mortal life, and being of sound mind and memory (blessed by Almighty God for the same) do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say-- First, I give and bequeath unto my son Enoch and Isaac all my landed estate, with the appurtanances thereonto belonging, at the sum of Two thousand dollars, they paying as follows, to wit: One hundred dollars to my daughter Catharine Savidge, one year after my decease. One year after that, One hundred dollars to my daughter Mariah Gass. The year after that, One hundred dollars to my daughter Esther Zartman and one year after the last mentioned payment, One hundred dollars to my daughter Mary Peifer--And then, commencing one year after the last mentioned payment made, at the first, to wit, Catharine Savidge and paying year about in manner above mentioned until my four daughters above named and my Son John, Frederick, Jacob, Enoch and Isaac shall have received equal shares with my son William who has already received to the amount of Two hundred and Forty eight dollars towards his share. After which payments so made in the manner as above stated and there being any balance of my real estate remaining--it is my will that my estate be so settled and divided that all my sons and daughters have share and share alike. Item--It is my will that my executors shall pay to my beloved wife Catharine the sum of two hundred dollars out of my personal estate, one year after my decease, and that she retain all her goods and chattels which she brought with her to me--Never the less, if she shall wish to remain on the mansion place with my son Enoch and Isaac, it is my will that they provide for her sufficient meals, drink and wearing apparel during her natural life, and that she also shall have one room in the House with a stove therein. By all of which should she choose to remain with my said sons it is to be understood, that she is not to receive the two hundred dollars before mentioned. Item--It is my will that my Sons and daughters who have received any part during my life time are to pay no interest for any part thereof. And also that the payments to be made, by my son Enoch and Isaac are to be without interest if paid at the proper times herein specified. Item--I nominate and appoint my son William and Jacob Executors fo this my last will and Testament--In witness whereof I have unto set my hand and seal the Ninth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty two. Kiehl Northumberland County SS: Be it remembered that on the 17th day of September Anno Domini 1849, before me David Rockefeller, Register of and for said county, personally came Edward Oyster and George W. Kiehl, the two subscribing witnesses to the foregoing instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Conrad Raker, who being duly sworn according to law, did declare and say that they were personally present and did see and hear Conrad Raker the Testator, sign seal publish and pronounce, the said instrument of writing to be his last Will and Testament, and that at the time of so doing he was of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge and belief--That they witnessed the same in the presense and at the request of the Testator; and that the names "Edward Oyster" and "George W.
