Raker, of the Township of Little Mahanoy, in the County of Northumberland and the State of Pennsylvania (Farmer), being of sound mind, memory, and understanding, do make my last will and Testament in manner and form following viz: First,--I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Sarah Ann the use and occupancy of all my property, Real and personal estate of whatsoever kind or nature the same may be in the County of Northumberland and State of Pennsylvania or elsewhere, to her own use and benefit, during her natural life, if she so long remain my widow and not marry again. Second,--I hereby vest unto her my said wife Sarah Ann, full power and authority the same as I myself could do if living, to have my farm farmed by such person she may wish to have to farm. And she to collect all moneys &c. due me after my death. I also give her my said wife Sarah Ann full power and authority to sell and dispose of such personal property that she may wish to dispose of for and towards paying all my legal debts and funeral expenses as soon as conveniently can be done after my death. Third,--And immediately after the Death of my said wife Sarah Ann, I give and bequeath all of my estate Real and personal property unto my legal heirs and representatives to each share and share alike. Fourth,--I hereby give unto my said Executor hereinafter named full power and authority to sell and dispose of all my Real and personal Estate at Public Sale, giving him full power and authority to make and Execute Deed for said Real Estate unto said purchaser or purchasers with the same right and title, as I myself could do if living, and after all converted into money as soon as conveniently be done by my said Executor the same to be equally divided to my heirs as above states. And lastly, I nominate, constitute, and appoint my Son Edward B. Raker to be the Executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof, I, Enoch D. Raker the Testator, have to this, my will, written on one sheet of paper set my hand and seal, this Twelveth (12th) day of February A.D. one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four. (1884) Enoch D. Kiehl Henry Z. Raker A Codicil to the above Will and Testament I Enoch D. Raker the within named Testator, being of sound mind, memory and understanding do hereby Publish this Codicil in addition tot he above to my last Will and Testament, bearing date the twelveth (12th) day of February A.D. 1884 in manner following to wit: I also do hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my Daughters (namely) Susan Jane Raker and Barbara Allas Raker to be Executrix to the above and this my last Will & Testament. In Witness whereof, I, Enoch D. Raker the Testator, in the above Will &c. have to this my will, written on one sheet of paper to this codicil set my hand and seal this twenty-fourth day of March A.D. one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five. Kiehl Henry Z. Raker A Further Codicil to the above or foregoing Will and Testament I Enoch D. Raker the within named testator being of sound mind, memory and understanding, do hereby Publish this a Further Codicil to be added to the above or foregoing to my last will and Testament being date the twelveth day of February A.D. 1884 in manner following to wit: Item: And Further I give to my said wife Sarah Ann the privilege and full power and authority to enter on any of my Lands and to cut and haul away any kind of Timber or Timbers and to sell the same and the moneys receiving therefor to be to her own use. And Further, I also give to my said wife Sarah Ann the right and full power to Rent my farm and also the right and full power to Sell at Public Sale all or such life stock and Farming implements also such House Furniture that she wish to Sell or dispose of the same as I myself could do if living, and the moneys arising therefrom to be to her use her heirs and assigns forever. In witness whereof I Enoch D. Raker the Testator have to this Codicil to this my last will & testament written on one sheet of Legal cap paper Set my hand and seal this Thirty-first day of January A.D. 1888. Enoch D. Raker, Susan Jane Raker & Barbara Alice Raker now Hoffman do swear that as executors of the foregoing last Will and Testament of Enoch D. Raker deceased we will well and truly administer the goods and chattels, rights and credits of said deceased, agreeably to law, and that we will comply with the provisions of the law relating to collateral inheritances.
