John Rebock's Will In the Name of God, Amen: I John Rebock of the Township of Upper Mahanoy County of Northumberland And State of Pennsylvania. Yeoman being of Sound and disposing mind memory, & understanding, do make and declare this my last will and Testament, in name And form following to wit; Principally, and first of All, Item. I Commend My Soul to God and My Body to the earth to, be decently interred as my Executor shall direct in humble hope of a glorious resurrection And an happy admission into regions immortal bless glory in and though the merits of My Mediator And redeemer Christ Jesus. And as to Such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless Me in this Life. I give and dispose of the same in manner Following to wit-- Item -- It is My will and I do, order and direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be first and fully satisfied as soon as conveniently may be done after my decease -- Item -- I give and devise unto my beloved wife Elizabeth all my Real estate. Together with so much of My personal property as She wants. Owning her Natural life or as long as She remains My widow -- Item -- And after the decease of beloved wife Elizabeth or her marriage. I order that all my Real and personal property to be sold at public vendue by My Executor herein after named. And the money arising thereof is to divided amongst - My Nine Children or to their heirs. Share and Share alike. And lastly, I Nominate and appoint my friend Jacob H. Kauffman to be my Executor of this My last will and Testament, hereby revoking all other wills legacies, bequests by Me heretofore made And declaring this and by others to be My last will and testament. In Witness where I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this twenty Second of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight-hundred fifty two A. Pensel Register for the probate of Wills and granting Letters of Administration in and for the county aforesaid. Personally came Reuben Wagner & Jacob H. Kauffman The Subscribing Witnesses to the above foregoing will. who, being duly Sworn according to Law, do say that they were present and saw and heard John Rebock the testator Sign, Seal, publish pronounce and Acclaim the foregoing instrument of writing And as for his last Will & Testament. And that at the Time of so doing he was of Sound Mind Memory And Understanding to the best of their Knowledge and belief Sworn Subscribed ) Jacob H. Kauffman Before Me ) Reuben Wagner Jno. P.
