I Elias Rebuck of the Township of Washington in the County of Northumberland and State of Pennsylvania, Farmer, being of sound mind memory and understanding do make and publish this my last Will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made, And as to such estate as it has pleased God to intrust me with, I dispose of the same as follows viz.-- First. I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife Mary Rebuck two cows, three hogs, fifteen chickens, meat and all kinds of grain as much as she desires to have, and as much of all kind of house furniture and family stories and all kind of provisions as much as she desires to have all for herself her heirs and assigns forever. I also give and bequeath unto my said wife Mary Rebuck room in the house where we now live in as much as she desires to have for herself and family and a certain piece of ground in the garden on the same premises near the house, pasture and ready made hay and feed put on the stable, sufficient for two cows, room in the stable for said two cows, straw to bed them, properly, and apples cider and all kind of other fruit and [illegible word] yearly and every year as much as she desires to have for herself and family during her natural life if so much will grow on the premises where we now live on. I also give and bequeath unto my said wife Mary Rebuck, her heirs and assigns forever, out of the same premises where we now live on yearly twenty bushels of corn in the ear (or twenty-five bushels of shelled corn) twenty-five bushels of potatoes, and fifty lbs. of good beef when desired or as much as she desires to have, each kind of grain and beef yearly and every year during her natural life. Second. I give devise and bequeath unto my said wife Mary Rebuck all the residue of my personal property whatever she wishes to have, or select, to her heirs and assigns forever, which she can sell at private or public sale as she chooses and the proceeds thereof belonging all to her and her heirs and assigns forever. Third. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Susannah intermarried with William Krissinger and to her heirs and assigns forever, that certain judgement note, which she gave me last spring amounting one thousand dollars, and the further sum of five hundred dollars which shall be paid by my daughter Mary Rebuck out of her Real Estate bequeathed to her, which amounts shall be her full share out of my Estate, excepting the equal half of a certain piece of timber land hereafter described, and given to her and her sister Mary Rebuck share and share alike. Fourth. I give and bequeath unto my said daughter Susannah Krissinger and to my daughter Mary Rebuck, all that certain piece or tract of timber land situate in Washington Township, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, bounded by land of Franklin Musick, Andrew Brosious, late John Wiest and others, containing twenty-six acres more or less, and to their heirs and assigns forever, share and share alike and they can divide the same equally if they desire at any time without any pay for the same. Fifth. I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Rebuck, and to her heirs and assigns forever, all that certain peice or tract of Land situate in Washington Township, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, adjoining lands of John Hetrick, Samuel B. Reitz, Daniel W. Latsha and others, containing one hundred and twenty eight acres more or less with all the buildings and improvements subject to the bequeath thereout to my said wife Mary Rebuck yearly during her natural live, it being the homestead and fifteen acres of timber land being the same which was bought at the time the above described homestead were bought from Daniel Reitz, situate in Washington Township, aforesaid adjoining lands of Abraham Kieffer, Samuel & Isaac Rebuck, and others. ALso, all that certain piece of timberland situate in Washington Township, adjoining land of Lydia Reitz, Samuel & Isaac Rebuck, and others containing ten acres more or less, with all the appurtenances, for which three pieces of land last described she my daughter Mary Rebuck shall pay the aforesaid five hundred dollars to my said daughter Susannah Krissinger or to her heirs and assigns forever, and she my said daughter yielding yearly and every year to my said wife Mary her portion, heretofore named, or as much thereof as she desires to have during her natural life, and also pay in money to my said wife Mary Rebuck such sum or sums of money as she desires to have from her my said daughter Mary, for her comfortable living, and the balance worth more shall be her my said daughter Mary, full share out of my estate, excepting said one half of said twenty-six acres of timberland heretofore bequeathed to her. Sixth. I give devise and bequeath unto my grand children namely Amanda Rebuck, Catherine Rebuck, and Mary Rebuck, children and heirs of my son John Rebuck deceased, all that certain piece or tract of land situate in Washington Township, Northumberland County and State of Pennsylvania, adjoining lands of Barnhard Adams, Daniel Rebuck, Daniel Brosious, Milton Drumheller containing forty-two acres more or less with the buildings thereon to have and to hold the same to them their heirs and assigns forever, share and share alike, without any payment therefore, and for their full share purport and divident out of my Estate real and personal or mixed, whatsoever, and in case one or the other of the said grand children or heirs of my said son John Rebuck, deceased, should die without issue or heirs, then the share or shares so bequeathed in said real estate shall fall back tot he surviving thereof, and if they all should die without any issue, then the said premises hereby bequeathed to them shall all fall back to my other two daughters, share and share alike and to their heirs and assigns forever. Seventh. All the rest and residue of my Real and personal Estate not herein before bequeathed whatsoever and wheresoever the same, shall be sold by my executrix herein after named and all my just debts and funeral expenses paid thereout and the net balance I give and bequeath to my said wife Mary Rebuck, and to her heirs and assigns forever. And lastly I constitute and appoint my beloved wife Mary Rebuck and my Daughter Mary Rebuck, to be the Executrix of this my last will and testament, and hereby authorize them my said wife and daughter to appoint any person in their place as they desire if they choose to do so.
