Snydertown, April 27th 1897 Know all men by these presents that I Louisa Savidge of the Borough of Snydertown, Northumberland County, State of Pennsylvania, former being of Good health and sound mind memory do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me at any heretofore made. And as to my worldly estate and all the property real or personal or mixed or money on interest or in bank or everywhere else that is mine now or at my death I devise bequeath and dispose there of manner following to wit, It is my will that all my debts and funeral expenses shall be paid our of my estate by my executor as soon as may be convenient. And there shall be a monument erected at my grave such in size and quality as my executor may determine upon. I give and bequeath towards the erection of a New Lutheran Church in the Borough of Snydertown Northumberland County if the church will be built which has been reasonably decided to be built by the St. Johns Lutheran Congregation I hereby bequeath Five hundred dollars for the erection of the New Church. And further I will and bequeath one hundred dollars more towards memorial windows in the foresaid church. And I will and bequeath to the St. John Lutheran Congregation Five hundred Dollars which the Council shall place on good real estate security and the interest thereof shall go yearly towards the support of the Pastor in charge toward making up his salary as long as there is a Lutheran Church stand[ing] in the Borough of Snydertown that the congregation worships in. I will and bequeath the balance of my estate after the aforesaid is paid out to my Brothers and Sisters share and share alike. And lastly and I hereby constitute and appoint David Hoover as my Executor of this my last will and testament. I thereof the said Louisa Savidge here unto set my hand the 27th day of April 1897.
