Sunbury Daily Item - Jun 1917 The Home of Mr. & Mrs. Harry Walker on Queen Street, Northumberland, was the scene of an attractive wedding Saturday evening when their eldest daughter, Miss Nina Barker, became the bride of Mr. EugeneW. K. Cornwell. Promptly at 6:45 o'clock, while Miss Leanora Walker, a sister of the bride played Mendelssohn's wedding march, the bridal party took their places before an altar of beautiful ferns, where the scared double-ring ceremony was preformed by the Rev. Dr. Owen Hicks, of Williamsport, an Uncle of the groom. Crismon rambler roses and daisies, suggestive of the Cornwell colors, were effectively arranged throughout the room. The bride looked charming in a navy blue traveling costume and a chic black hat. She wore a bouquet of Bridal roses and carried the Lutheran prayer book. Miss Mary Steele who was the maid of honor, wore a pretty frock of dark green tafetta and carried Killarney roses. Mr Ralph Cornwell, brother of the groom, was best man.
