THE GREEK CATHOLIC SOCIAL CLUB OF MT CARMEL, PA

BE IT KNOWN that the subscribers having assembled themselves together for the 

purpose of conducting a social and beneficial association and being desirous of 

becoming incorporated agreeably to the Act of the General Assembly of the 

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, entitled " An Act to provide for the incorporation 

and Regulation of certain Corporations" approved the twenty-ninth day of April, 

A.D. 1874, and its supplements do hereby declare set forth and certify that the 

following are the purposes, objects, articles, and conditions of their said 

Association for and upon which they desire to be incorporated:



1.The name of the corporation shall be called the "THE GREEK CATHOLIC SOCIAL 

CLUB OF MT CARMEL, PA".



2.The character and objective of which is the maintenance of a club for hte 

promotion of freidnship, intercourse, social enjoyment, physical and mental 

cluture of its members, and for the accumulation of a fund by periodical payment 

by its members, and for the accumulation of a fund by periodical payments by its 

members for the purpose of assisting the sick.



3.The place where the business of the corporation is to be conducted is Mt. 

Carmel, state of Pennsylvania.



4.The corporation shall have perpetual succesion by its coporate name.



5.The names and residences of the subscribees are as follows:

John Zebiak, Mt Carmel, PA

Steve Chornack, Mt Carmel, PA

John Homiak, Mt Carmel, PA

Philip Repella, Mt Carmel, PA

6.The officers of the corporation shall be a President, a Vice-President, a 

Financial Secretary, an Recording Secretary, and a Treasurer.  The number of 

Directors chosen for the first year shall be eight (8), names and residences as 

follows:

7.The corporation has no capital stock. Fees for membership  and annual dues for 

Members shall be assessed as the corporation by its By-Laws may determine, which 

fees and dues be applied to promoting the purposes for which the corporation is 

formed.



8. The yearly income of the said corporation, other than that derived for real 

estate shall not exceed teh sum of twenty thousand dollars.
