Written: February 12, 1857 This Indenture witnesseth that Joshua Row of the age of Nineteen years, of the County of Perry son of Jeremia Row by and with the consent of his father, as testified by his signing as a witness hereunto hath put himself and by these presents doth voluntarily and of his own free Will and record put himself apprentice to John Segar of the villiage of Blain Perry County and State of Pennsylvania, Cabinet maker to learn his art trade and mystery and after the maner of an apprentice to serve him from the fifteenth day of April A.D. One Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty Seven for and during the full End and Term of Two years during which said Two years the said Joshua Row is to have four weeks of time to himself in each year for harvesting During all which Term the apprentice his said Master faithfully shall serve his secret keep his Lawfull command, everywhere gladly obey. he shall do no damage to his said masters, goods no see it done by others, without letting or giving notice thereof to his said master, he shall not waste his masters goods nor lend them unfathfully to any, And the Said John Segar shall use the utmost of his endeavors to teach or cause to be taught or instructed the said apprentice in the trade or mystery of a Cabinet maker and procure for him sufficient meat drink washing and mending and lodging fit for an aprentice during the Said Term of Two years and the said master to give said Aprentice Thirty Dollar at the end of said Term, In witness whereof the said parties have hereunto set their hands and Seals this Twelfth day of Feb AD 1857 Joshua Row (Seal) John Segar (Seal) Witness- (This part of the document did not copy) This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/pafiles/ File size: 2.2 Kb
