Made report that after giving due public and legal notice of the time and place of their meeting, they met at the house of Thomas Craighead in Landisburg on Friday the 30th day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand and eight hundred and twenty five and having fully examined the documents of the administrator and ascertained as well the amount of the assetts (sic) in his hands as also the monies arising from the sales of the real estate in the hands of John Miller, Sheriff of Perry County And after fully examining the claims presented to them and being severally sworn according to law made distribution thereof to amongst the creditors of said deceased (Report filed). Whereupon on motion of John D. Creigh Esquire the said ____ is aproved of and confirmed and the administrator directed and ordered to pay over the respective ____ ____ dividends agreeably to the said report to the creditors therein named who are entitled to receive them. By The Court. January 5th, 1826 On Motion of John D. Creigh, Esquire The Court order and direct that the Sheriff pay over to Philip Bosserman Administrator of Jacob Vance late of Juniata Township deceased the whole monies arising out of the sale of the real estate of said deceased. And that the said Philip Bosserman enter into recognizance (sic) with Good security that he shall pay over the monies which he may receive from the Sheriff of Perry County arising out of the real estate of Jacob Vance deceased to the Creditors of the said deceased agreeable to the Report of the Auditors. By The Court. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania vs Philip Bosserman and George Monroe, Esq. Philip Bosserman held in $500.00 George Monroe, Esq. held in $500.00 Which several sums of monies use to levied of their ______ goods and chattles (sic) lands and tenements jointly and severably as the following conditions that the said Philip Bosserman shall pay over the monies which he may or shall receive from the sheriff of Perry County arising out of the real estate of Jacob Vance late of Juniata Township, deceased to the creditors of said deceased agreeably to the report of the Auditors appointed to marshall the assetts of said deceased then this recognizance to be void otherwise to be and remain in full ____ and virtue. Taken and acknowledged in open the ____ day of January one thousand eight hundred and twenty six. Jacob Vance, dec'd. Petition for and appointment of Guardian for Susannah & Samuel Vance. January 1826 The petition of Susannah Vance, widow and relict of Jacob Vance late of Juniata township deceased was read to the court stating that her husband died some time since leaving a number of children in their minority among whom are Susannah and Samuel who are under the age of fourteen years that they have no person to take charge of their persons and estates and praying the Court to appoint some proper person for that purpose. Whereupon the Court upon due consideration do appoint John Hollopeter Guardian over the persons and estates of said minors. By the Court.
