F, 149th Reg't, PA Vol. Infantry Bucktails Mustered in 26 Feb 1865 and mustered out with Co. on 24 Jun 1865. John Powell. Private, Co. K, 149th Reg't, PA Vol. Infantry Bucktails (son by 1st marriage) Enlisted 17 Aug 1863. Wounded at Petersburg, VA on 20 Jun 1864. Discharged on Surgeon"s Certificate on 30 Mar 1865. Daniel Powell, Jr. Private, Co. D, 149th Reg't, PA Vol. Infantry Bucktails Enlisted 31 Aug 1861. Killed 19 Oct 1864 in Battle of Cedar Creek, on the morning of Sheridan's ride from Winchester, 20 miles away. Veteran. Sons of John Powell, 2nd: Solomon Powell Private, Co. D, 149th Reg't, PA Vol. Infantry Bucktails Enlisted 31 Aug 1861. Wounded 9 Aprl 1864 at Pleasent Hill, LA, and died 7 Jun 1864 while a prisoner at Pleasent Hill, LA. Veteran John Powell, Jr. Private, Co. D, 149th Reg't, PA Vol. Infantry Bucktails Mustered in 31 Aug 1861. Died 29 Aug 1862 at Key West, FL, while on guard duty. This Company recruited at New Bloomfield, Perry County, PA. William Powell Corporal, Co. D, 149th Reg't, PA Vol. Infantry Bucktails Enlisted 31 Aug 1861. Promoted to Corporal 19 Sep 1864. Mustered out with Co., 26 Dec 1865. Veteran Andrew F. Powell Private, Co. C, 149th Reg't, PA Vol. Infantry Bucktails Mustered in 5 Oct 1863. Captured at Wilderness VA, 6 May 1864. Died 6 Sep 1864 while a prisoner at Andersonville, GA. Lewis W. Powell Private, Co. G, 208th Reg't, PA Vol. Infantry Mustered in 5 SSep 1854. Isaiah Clouser Died in 1866 of smallpox in VA during his service in the war. He was attached to heavy artillery.
