  LEWIS MORRISON, one of the Amos Henderson gang of thieves in Carroll township, 
  two or three of which were sent to the penitentiary about four years ago, was 
  arrested in Carlisle last week, brought here by Sheriff BEERS on Wednesday and 
  is now lodged in jail.
