ARNEY Lester C. Arney, 68, Mount Pleasant Mills RD1, a retired equipment operator for the East Shore Materials Co., Harrisburg, died at 3:10 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, in the Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, where he was admitted Dec. 16. Mr. Arney had been under the care of a physician for the past several years for a heart condition. Born Feb. 18, 1912, at Liverpool RD1, Perry County, he was the son of Mrs. Susie Liddick Arney of New Buffalo and the late Cameron Arney. In 1957, he married the former Mildred Mae Zellers, who survives. Mr. Arney attended the Oriental Church of the Brethren, Liverpool RD1. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Shellenberger of Duncannon RD3 and Mrs. Robert Naylor of New Buffalo. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the George P. Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool, by the Rev. Wesley J. Berkebile. Burial will be in Barner's Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD1.
