BAKER, 75 RR1 Liverpool LIVERPOOL-Virginia Baker, 75, of RR1 Liverpool died Wednesday evening, Feb. 9, 2000, at Brookline Manor Nursing Home, Mifflintown. She was born on Sept. 19, 1924 in Cocolamus, a daughter of the late Henry A. Lyter and the late Evelyn Bromley. She was married on Oct. 4, 1944, to Charles F. Baker Sr. She was educated in Liverpool schools. She was employed by the state Department of Transportation Harrisburg, and was also a house wife and mother. She was a member of the American Legion Post 364 auxiliary, Liverpool. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are one daughter and son-in-law, Penelope and Wilson Woolard of York; one son and daughter-in-law, Charles F. and Kizzie Jr. of Frederick, Md.; three grandsons, Charles F. III and Robert and Chris; one brother, George A. Lyter of Liverpool; and two sisters, Jane Bartecchi of Maryland and Eleanor Dunlap of California. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Agnes, Mary and Dorothy, and one brother, Curtis. Visitors may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the George P. Garman Funeral Home, 606 N. Front St., Liverpool. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home by the Rev. Peter Kuebler. Burial will be in St. John's (Barners) Lutheran Cemetery RR1 Clipping
