LOUISE BOYER, 66, RR1 LIVERPOOL LIVERPOOL - M. Louise Boyer, 66, of RR1 Liverpool died at 4:15 a.m. Thursday, April 22, 1999, at the home of her daughter, Donna, in Linglestown, where she had lived for a short time. She had been in failing health since Jan. 10, 1998. She was born Aug. 12, 1932, in Lancaster, a daughter of the late George and Mildred (Orris) Weibley. On March 17, 1951, she married Charles Wilson "Cactus" Boyer, who died April 1, 1997. She was a 1950 graduate of Greenwood Joint High School, Millerstown. Mrs. Boyer was employed for many years by Miller's Market, Liverpool. She mostly devoted her time to being a homemaker and loving mother. She was a member of the Auxiliary of the Liverpool fire company; the Hunter's Valley Sportsmen's Association; was a social member of the Liverpool Home Association Inc., Post 364; and judge of elections for Liverpool Township for many years. She was well-known as an excellent cook and a great organizer. She loved to travel. Mrs. Boyer was an active member of St. John (Barners) Lutheran Church, RR1 Liverpool, where she was secretary of the church council at the time of her death and involved in the church's yearly apple butter boil festival. She also assisted the women of the church in various capacities. Surviving are one son, Joseph C. of Glen rock; one daughter and son-in-law, Donna L. and Gene Hillegas of Linglestown; three grandson, Adam and Jedd boyer and cory Hillegas; and one sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Victor Miller of Donnelly Mills. She was preceded in death by one brother, Galen Weibley, and one sister Beatrice Rice. Visitors may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the George P. Garman Funeral Home, 606 N. Front St., Liverpool. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home by the Rev. Peter H. Kuebler, her pastor. Burial will be in St. John (Barners) Lutheran Cemetery, RR1 Liverpool. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John (Barners) Lutheran Church, RR1, Box 40A-2, Liverpool, Pa. 17045, or Hospice Preferred Choice Inc., 4811 Jonestown Road, Suite 235, Harrisburg, Pa. 17109.
