SUSAN E. BUCHER Mrs. Susan E. Bucher, of Liverpool, died at the Good Samaritan Convalescent Home, Liverpool, on Thursday, August 15th, at 11 a.m. She had been a guest there for four days. Mrs. Bucher, who was 87 years of age, was in failing health for some time. Mrs. Bucher was born October 6, 1869, at Liverpool R.D., and resided in that area all of her life. She was the daughter of the late Phillip and Amanda Bohner Fawver. She was a member of St. James' Evangelical United Brethren Church and Sunday School, Millerstown R. D., and of the Missionary Society of that church. She was married to Peter C. Bucher, who preceded her in death 51 years ago. She is survived by two sons, Herman L. Bucher, of Liverpool and Erney A. Bucher, of Napa, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Delvin Hockenbroch, of Liverpool R. D.; ten grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren. Two sons preceeded her in death. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. in Barner's Church, Liverpool, R. D. Rev. L. C. Sholes of Mexico officiated. Interment was made in the church cemetery. Clipping (1957)
