Born Oct. 5, 1890, at Liverpool RD1, Juniata County, son of the late Levi and Sarah Gombeck Chubb. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Stoney Run Mission, McAlisterville RD1. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Lottie C. Frontz of Richfield RD1; and a brother, Abraham of Duncannon RD4. The funeral was conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the George P. Garman Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant Mills, by the Rev. Earl G. Koehler. Burial was made in Barner's Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD1. Clipping (1981)
