CHUBB John C. Chubb, 87, Duncannon RD 4, a retired farmer, died Wednesday, July 18, at 10:45 p.m. at his home. Born July 2, 1892, at Liverpool RD1, Perry County, Mr. Chubb was the son of the late Levi H. and Sarah Gombeck Chubb. Mr. Chubb was also a retired employee of Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. He attended Barner's Lutheran Church, Liverpool RD 1. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Lottie Pearl Frantz of Richfield RD 1, and two brothers, Abraham L. Chubb of Duncannon RD 4; and Emmanuel Chubb of Richfield. The funeral was conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the George P. Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool, by the Rev. James W. Leininger and the Rev. George E. Culver. Burial was made in the Barner's Cemetery, Liverpool RD1. Clipping [7-1979]
