Aged 37 years and 4 months. A coroner's inquest was held and the body was taken to Millersburg in the evening to prepare for burial. On Friday the body was brought to his place and taken to the home of Jesse Zimmerman, the home of the unfortunate man being too small for funeral purposes. The funeral was held on Saturday morning. Services were held at the house by Revs. Ott and Hartsock at 9 o'oclock after which the body was taken to Barners church where serices were held by the same ministers, and the body interred in the cemetery there. The floral tributes were very liberal - fifteen bouquets in all. Deceased was a good and industrious young man and the sole support of his aged mother, Mrs. Ellzabeth Clemens, who survives him. He is also survived by a brother and a sister. Mrs. Clemens returns thanks to Mrs. Zimmerman for her help and kindness and the use of her house, and her other neighbors for their kindness help and sympathy, and all who donated flowers.
