DECKARD LIVERPOOL - Lloyd R. Deckard, 86, of 504 N. Market St., died Saturday at Nipple Convalescent Home. A native of Liverpool, he was a retired farmer, a former employee of PennDot, and a member of St. John (Barner's) Lutheran Church. Barner's Cemetery Association, Order of MacAbees, and Liverpool Fire Company, with 40 years' of service. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Barner Deckard; a son, Barner R. of Harrisburg; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church. The Rev. Charles L. Stettler, his pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Barner's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home at 606 N. Front St. Monday after 7 p.m. and Tuesday at the church from 12:30 p.m. until time of services. Clipping (6-2-1979)
