G. PEARL GELNETT LIVERPOOL - Mrs. G. Pearl Gelnett, 92, Liverpool RD1, died Saturday morning in the Perry Village, New Bloomfield, where she had been a resident since Feb. 3. Before being admitted there, she had been confined to her home for several years. Born Dec. 29, 1890, in Millerstown RD2, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Alice Deckard Barner. Her husband, Milton Gelnett, died in 1976. The couple farmed their entire working lifetime. Mrs. Gelnett was a member of St. John's (Barner's) Lutheran Church and Sunday School, Liverpool RD1. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Witmer of Liverpool RD1, Mrs. Robert Cauffman of Millerstown RD1, and Mrs. Herman Shirk of Selinsgrove; one son, Clayton B. of Liverpool RD1; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. A son, Bruce, died in 1911. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the George P. Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool, by the Rev. Theodore L. Cockley. Burial will be in Barner's Cemetery, Liverpool RD1. Friends may call in the funeral home this evening. Clipping September 17, 1983 de
