Mrs. Hockenbroch was educated in the Juniata County schools. She was married to Willard J. Hockenbroch, who died in 1966. The couple lived in the Liverpool area their entire married lives. Following her husband's death, Mrs. Hockenbroch lived with her sons. Born Dec. 8, 1902, in Richfield RD1, Juniata County, she was the daughter of the late John and Dillie Knouse Strawser. Mrs. Hockenbroch was a member of the Oriental Church of the Brethren, Liverpool RD 1. Surviving are three sons, Palmer W. of Star Route, Richfield, Woodrow C. of Liverpool RD 1 and Carl L. of Mount Pleasant Mills RD 2; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and two step-sisters, Mrs. Stearl Kratzer of Star Route, Richfield, and Mrs. Stearl Fidler, of Lewistown. The funeral service was conducted Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the George P. Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool. The Rev. John W. Sellers officiated. burial was made in Barner's Church Cemetery, Liverpool.
