FERN A. HOOD LIVERPOOL - Mrs. Fern Annie Hood, 57, Liverpool RD1, died at 11:30 a.m. Thursday of a heart attack while at the Industrial Electronic Rubber Co., Susquehanna Division, Liverpool, where she was employed as an inspector. Born July 7, 1922, in Liverpool RD1, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Minnie Ellen Shetterly Bucher. Her husband, Gerald Hood, died in 1974. She graduated from Liverpool High School in 1940. Mrs. Hood had worked at the Liverpool Dress Factory. Later, she was employed at the Nipple Convalescent Home as a licensed practical nurse. She was a member of Barner's Lutheran Church and Sunday school, Liverpool RD1; Perry Valley Grange No. 1804; Liverpool Civic Club; Liverpool Fire Company and its Ladies Auxiliary; Women of the Moose Chapter No. 21, Millerstown; William H. Saylor V.F.W. Post 34, Newport, and its Ladies Auxiliary; theLadies Auxiliary of Wesley DeHaven American Legion Post 364, Liverpoo;l, and the Home Association of the Post. Mrs. Hood was the last of her immediate family. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. sunday in Barner's Lutheran Church by the Rev. Charles L. Stetler. Burial will be in Barner's Cemetery, Liverpool RD1. Friends may call in the church Sunday from noon to the time of the service. Funeral arrangements are by the George P.
